Estelle Getty has died. I'm almost on the verge of tears. She was so funny and awesome. I'll miss you Sophia. Rest In Peace.

 Can there please be a day where my Internet works properly? I swear when it isn't kicking me off it's not letting AIM work. I CAN'T EVEN USE GOOGLE.

There was hilarity at work today. 

So, some guy came to pay for his stuff and I was singing along with the radio, we play a radio up front. The song just happened to be "Don't Fear The Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult. So I'm singing along like I would do with any song that I like, and the guy says "What do you know about this song? You're young." He was just joking, and me, feeling silly, said "I know it needs MORE COWBELL! :D"...He...he didn't get my joke. So since his wife was off looking around I spent about three minutes explaining the "More Cowbell" SNL sketch to him. It was pretty awesome. 
 

 So me and Anime haven't had a very good relationship lately. I haven't had a show that I follow week to week since Eureka 7 finished it's run on Adult Swim. And I was surprised that it managed to keep me interested for 50 eps. I gave up on FMA after 25. *yawn* And I never had to WAIT for Gurren Lagann since it was already finished airing when I started watching. Basically, I'm impatient and it takes an act of God, or an amazing storyline to keep me interested anymore.

BUT. I just watched the first ep of the new BONES show, Xam'd: Lost Memories. For a first episode it's phenomenal. The character designs are great, the animation is excellent, the opening and ending songs are thumbs up (opening more so), and the story (what little we get, hey it's the first ep) gives me a lot of hope. The animation almost gives off a studio Ghibli feel and it has a big grand feeling. I do get an Eureka 7 feeling, what with the airship and a crew of people, but I like feeling that way because I loved Eureka 7.

So, if you like BONES, or Eureka 7, watch this!

Oh what's this? The Emmys ignored The Wire for Best Drama AGAIN? Okay, so it got nommed for writing for -30-. BUT EXCUUUUUUUUUSE YOUUUUUUU.

Oh well. I'll be over in my corner cheering for Boston Legal.

Why  am I so stupid? I somehow FORGOT that Project Runway started tonight. Ughhhh. I need my Tim Gunn. I do not make it work. ;_;

HOLY CRAP. Tomorrow's ep looks HOOOOOOOOOOT. And omg, we finally get the Zuko/Katara friendship of awesome. Yayness.
